Dr Ricardo Alkouri brings a diverse range of skills and interests to general practice at Coorparoo Clinic. He holds a Diploma of Dermatology (2024), which complements his experience in chronic disease management, pain medicine, and procedural work.

Dr Alkouri’s interest in pain management means he is experienced in working with patients who are living with chronic or complex pain conditions. He takes a thorough approach to assessment and works with patients to identify management strategies that may support their quality of life.

His Diploma of Dermatology informs his approach to skin conditions, including the assessment and management of a range of dermatological presentations. This includes inflammatory skin conditions, pigmented lesions, and other common and less common skin concerns.

Dr Alkouri is also trained in ultrasound-guided injections, which may be used in the management of certain joint and soft-tissue conditions. He is experienced in the management of a broad range of chronic conditions and takes a collaborative approach to care planning.
