We bulk bill Aged Pension and DVA card holders. Concession discounts are available for other card holders. Straightforward private fees apply to all other patients.
Who is bulk billed?
Coorparoo Clinic bulk bills patients who hold an Aged Pension card or a DVA (Department of Veterans' Affairs) card.
Discounted fees may apply for other concession card holders. Some doctors may bulk bill patients under 16 years of age — please check with reception when booking.
Please note: No bulk billing is available during Saturday morning sessions.
Weekday consultation fees
The following fees apply to private patients during weekday opening hours (Monday–Friday).

Saturday morning consultation fees
Saturday fees are set separately. No concession discounts apply, and no bulk billing is available on Saturday mornings.

Medicare, telehealth & payment
Medicare rebates
Medicare rebates of $19.60–$197.90 apply to eligible consultations, depending on length and type. The rebate can be processed on the day and refunded directly to your nominated account via Medicare's EFTPOS terminal.
Telehealth
Telehealth appointments are available and charged at the same rates as in-person consultations. Standard Medicare rebates apply to eligible telehealth services.
Non-attendance fee
A fee of $50 applies if you do not attend your appointment without prior notice. Please call (07) 3397 4151 as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.
Payment methods
We accept EFTPOS (Visa and Mastercard) and cash. Diners Club cards are not accepted.
OSHC patients
Patients covered by Overseas Student Health Cover (Medibank or AHM) pay out-of-pocket at the time of consultation. Coorparoo Clinic claims directly from your insurer on your behalf.
Newborns without Medicare
Newborns who are not yet registered with Medicare are charged at private rates. Once registration is complete, the Medicare rebate may be claimed retrospectively.

My newborn does not have a Medicare card yet. What happens?
Newborns without a Medicare card are charged at private rates. Once Medicare registration is completed, you can claim the rebate retrospectively through Medicare.
Are vaccinations available on Saturdays?
No. Vaccinations are not available during Saturday morning sessions. Please book a weekday appointment for immunisations.
