Dr John Stevens provides general practice care to patients of all ages at Coorparoo Clinic. He has a particular interest in family medicine, men’s health, and skin surgery, and is experienced in managing a broad range of presentations from acute illness to ongoing health management.

In family medicine, Dr Stevens looks after patients at every life stage — from young children through to older adults. He values the continuity that comes from knowing his patients over time and being available for whatever health concern may arise.

Dr Stevens takes a practical, no-nonsense approach to men’s health. He is experienced in discussing conditions that men may sometimes hesitate to raise, including cardiovascular risk, prostate health, testosterone levels, and mental health. Regular health screening and preventative check-ups form an important part of the care he provides.

Dr Stevens also performs minor skin procedures, including excisions of suspicious skin lesions. If you have noticed a new or changing skin spot, or have previously been told to keep an eye on something, he can assess it and advise on the appropriate next steps.
